opatija is a beautiful old seaside town at the junction of istris and kvarner
these days it seems to be mainly a destination for elderly germans,croats and english.
it has a nice variety of hotels restaurants and a stunning promenade "the lungomare"
although its not a place for yound children i have to say its one of the safest feeling places i have ever visited,no riff-raff about and a nice climate |
