"Thermal town" a Abano Terme Travel Page by Kajron

Abano Terme is far 6km from my house, it is famous for thermal cures since roman empires era. About me I go to study at its nice library and take good drinks sometimes or a walk in its nice and beautiful centre, there sometimes you can place chess near the centre square (big chess on the road). Abano is the town of German tourist in general.

In the pic you can see the recent construction of the The sundial square South of the San Lorenzo cathedral covers an area of 1300 sq.m. It was built from an idea of the amateur astronomer Salvador Conde', and inaugurated in 1996. The motto is "Sicut Sol Fulgeat Pax" (let peace shine like the Sun), and the coordinates are: 45 deg 21' N, and 11 deg 47' E
