<font color=red>This is was my last trip. August-September 2001. My second time in US. For me it was a phantastic experience. Here some tips, comments and information that probably could help you.
I recommend you to visit South Beach. Why?
Beaches, Parties, Funny people, Hot all year.... do you want more?
Miami Beach's most exciting area is SOUTH BEACH ( sometimes known as "SOBE"), which occupies the southernmost three miles of the island.
Ocean Drive is the heart and soul of the nightlife scene -chic terrace cafés spill across the slim sidewalk amid a procession of fashion models wide-eyed tourist and drag queens. It's amazing!!
The paralleling streets of Collins Ave. and Washington Ave. are equallly festive (minus the oceanfront view)
In addition to the beach and the nightlife, it's the ARt Deco District containing the world's greatest concentration of Art Deco Architecture.
Almost you can visit (don't forget to do it):
LITTLE HAVANA: Most of people who live there are Cubans. In SW Eight Street (known colloquially by it's spanish name of "CAlle Ocho") you can find old men in "guayaberas" (billowing cotton shirts) playing dominoes, exotic restaurants whose walls vibrate to the pulsating rhythms of the homeland...
CORAL GABLES: South of Little Havana and notheast of Coconut Grove, it's twelve square miles of broad boulevards and leafy streets, lined by elaborate Spanish and Italian style architecture.
