    If you want to go to a nice night-club in Rio go and see the "Ilha dos Pescadores" which is a little bit away from normal tourist traps, it is at Barra da Tijuca, a 20 minutes drive from Copacabana away. The adress:

    I have been to this club with my brazilian friend twice and loved the place, nice music, beautiful people and good food....
    If you did not rented a car, you should take a taxi to there!

     The people running these tours are making a killing: they charge 50 bucks, pay the kid who shows you around a peanut, then claim your money goes to a charity to help poor favela folk. Assholes, exploitors. Oi vey.
