The city of Heaven, the city of the emperors. There is much to see about ancient China in this city which worth a visit indipendently of what you want to see in China. The modern city is spectacularly unattractive, whith it's huge blocks of popular houses which look like all the same. But the Tienanmen sqare, the forbidden city an , particularly, the Cixi's summer palace, those are unforgettable beauties.
