Together with Pablo we split this tour in two but it can easily be done in one day tour by car or taxi! If your time in Lisbon allows it, I highly recommend you to go to these places. It gives you a tiny bit of an insight about what this beautiful country is offering bexond Lisbon’s city limits. Within less than an hour you can enjoy the beaches of Cascais and Estoril or wander around in fresh air and cooler temperatures in Sintra or breathe in the smell of the Atlantic Ocean at Cabo da Roca!

If you are fond of doing a little walk, then climb up the hill (450 m above sea level) over Sintra and go to the remains of the Mauric castle. You will have a spectacular view of Sintra and all its palaces and the Atlantic coast in the north and west of Sintra. If you fancy a longer walk then go further to the Palácio da Pena.
