Batu Caves - just at KL's city limits in the north there are dramatic steep rocks rising out of the plain. The cave system through those rocks are home to the famous Hinu temples. A very steep stairway leads you up to the caves where a crazy bunch of maquaqe monkeys are greedily waiting for food. So watch out! During the Hindu Thaipusam festival some 100.000 people are coming to the Batu caves. It is said to be the biggest festival of that kind outside of India!
Bus Nr 70 and 349 are leaving from Lebuh Pudu (in China Town) every 30 minutes. Journey is about 45 min! Open daily from 7 to 21h!
