We have to thank 10.000 of people who built this city in the 18th century and left their lives for it! Peter the I. founded St.Petersburg in 1703. Next year it will celebrate its 300th anniversary. It is a quite young city and the most European of Russia. That's why many Europeans are very excited about this city. Especially when you visited Moscow first, you feel home when you get there.
