Hotel & Restaurant K?g?ne: Refreshment by the Roadside

Hotel & Restaurant K?g?ne is built in traditional Karelian style and located next to a lake. It's a delightful experience after several stops at impersonal roadside cafes and gas stations.

The restaurant (both a la carte and buffet) offers Finnish and Karelian specialities. There is a also a self service cafe.

There are also some rooms available (46-64 e). Enjoy the beautiful surroundings (if you can ignore the highway right in front), hiking and cross-country skiing trails 3 - 50 km, and sauna and swimming facilities.

Don't worry too much about the right pronounciation of the name. Most Finns have trouble with it too! If you want to give it a try, just say kae-goe-neh.
