Last weekend was my first time in Nuuksio! Incredible, true enough! After now eight years in Helsinki I've never managed to visit this oasis - and yet it is so close to Helsinki.
Only a 20minutes car ride to the west from Helsinki on Interstate 1 or route 110.
Slowly I will be updating these pages as I get more acquainted with this wilderness in our backyard so to speak...

Nuuskio as all of Finland is rather flat, so you won't see much but pine, birch and aspen trees. Theresore I always will... more travel advice
