Due to ice age glaciers and the historical Kymi-joki this area has been interestingly shaped.

Since Repovesi is not too far in the north you can easily make a weekend trip from ie Helsinki...

Amazing scenery and seems like a great escape from the urban environment. (sausages instead of a restaurant is perfectly ok, but I'm not sure I'd like to stay in laavu - although you make it sound very interesting).
