I love this idea for webtravel stories, especially for an old travel agent like myself!
Also, as a gay bear traveller, and naturist, I am trying to give my tips on places that I have found terrific or terrible... |
| | Travel Projects for 2005 - 2007 Apart from weekend trips, which might go just about anywhere within 6 hrs driving distance from Brussels. With my ex-husband, we went to our honeymoon to Turkey (Antalya region) in April 2005, and will go to Barcelona, Spain in June 2005, to Finland in August 2005 and again to Slovenia and Croatia in September 2005. In 2006, we went still together to Limoges, France; Biarritz, France; San Sebastian and Bilbao in Spain; London, UK; and again to Croatia.
After my divorce, I have been travelling alone, starting from September 2006: Finland twice (Lahti, Helsinki, Tampere, Oulu, Pyhäsalmi); Paris, France; Cologne, Germany; Bern, Switzerland - and when coming to 2007, I haven't really calmed down. So far (writing this article 21st May, 2007) I have been to Paris and Lille (FR); Cologne, Aachen, Giessen and Frankfurt (DE); Torino (IT); Basel, Bern, Thun, Interlaken, Zermatt (all in CH); Breda (NL) => I have been on the road practically every weekend... |
| | Can I have several home countries? Because I have lived in a few countries, which I all like very very much, I have started to think of all of them as my home countries. Something has anyway rubbed off to me during all these years... Do you think it is possible?
Or what do you think of somebody who has lived in Finland, USA, Canada, Scotland, Germany and Belgium?
I am not really a Finn, certainly not American or Belgian...
Maybe I am just me, who appreciates just about everything under the sun and rain. |
