Based in a red kiosk (to go with famous Red hall in Velenje) Okrepcevalnica Mladost is something you shouldnt miss. It has the best meat products in Slovenia. Also they provide their food on a phone call. Great for after parties or whenever you need deliciously packed extra extra calories and animal fat.

slascicarna Jagoda (confectionery Strawberry)
The place, where we gathered after school, fell in love, buyed first juices on our account for everybody. But those beautiful times are gone. The owner's family made some money and buisness has flowered, two new confectioneries were opened just in Velenje. The recipe for their ice-cream is top secred.

Favorite Dish: baklava (baclav, oriental speciality)

Directions: Just in the heart of concrete jungle named Kardeljev trg (Kardelj's square) where I grew up.
