Beautiful Virginia is a great place to live. Our last home was in Charlottesville where we lived for 2 years. It's a great place to raise a family, full of fun, close to all different kinds of diversions. Of course, I'm partial...
Charlottesville is truly a city of diversity. It's like a microcosm of a larger city but on a much smaller and friendlier scale. For an East Coast city (I'm from Philadelphia originally, so don't you East Coasters get offended) it is happily relaxed. The restaurants run the gamut from Indian food to Sicilian to Nouveau Cuisine. The University of Virginia is a huge source of this diversity as it draws students and faculty from across the globe. Charlottesville is truly unique in the way it blends small town with big city, culturally, physically, intellecutally. |
