Bregenz is a small town in Austria pretty close to the former German border. The town is situated on Bodensee (one of the biggest lakes in Europe). The lake is also a border between Germany, Lichtenstein, Austria and Switzerland.

The town is famous with it sommer festival, which is considered to be one of the biggest open air cultural festivals with theater and musical program and performed on a stage build in the waters of the lake. During the summer is a big atraction for yachting and swimming, although the water is not exactly what you call warm.

However the town is small enough to be a quiet and beautiful recreation place and its mountains are also really beautiful, and of course it seems like not so much is going on during the night, but this is false...
