    Biking is a part of the every day life of many people who live in Vienna. There are special lanes on the streets for the bikers and a lot of people prefer to use them instead of the public transportation.

    It's the same for roller blading. During the summer, spring and autumn months every friday you can join many young people on their ride through downtown Vienna. Actually they are they are skateing arround the first district and the police stops the cars...

    If you don't want to wait till Friday you can go to the Donauinsel (Danube Island) where you can enjoy the sites of the Donau City and the green sites of the island.

    Equipment: During the summer months you can also play some beach volleyball on the Danube Island (it's close to the U6 Station called Handelskai).
