Berne is where i live and my favorite swiss town. It's the capitol of Switzerland is only small (compared with other capital cities), but we've got everything we need: a great shoping mile where you don't get wet if it rains, a wonderful Cathedral, the river Aare to swim in, our own mountain, good restaurants and bars - as I said everything you need! So come here and explore this nice town!

Cons:we havn't got the sea here ;)

Nice tips and photos. I once spent two semesters at Bern University, but that was quite a while ago. Lived in a house in the Gerechtigkeitsgasse where Einstein once lived, until he could afford something better.
