Welcome to Mabu's North Cape page!!

The North Cape is known as the most northern point of Europe, wich is actualy not true... If Islands count as well, Spitzbergen is further north, and if only the Mainland counts (the North Cape is on a Island) there is some land east of the North cape wich is nearly as far north. Anyway its a nice place to go!

We got a perfect day to visit the North Cape, sunshine and not a cloud in sight!

Price:
The North Cape is an expensive place to be and to get there :-(

You pay for driving on the parking lot, if you are in your own car or in a bus doesn't matter, you pay! Well you should. There is a way round it, see my tourist trap tip!

If you find out about the way to get around the paying bit to late (like we did...) the enterance fee is NOK 185.-- per Adult, Children are NOK 50.-- and there's a Family Package (2+2) for NOK 370.--

A good page about Nordkapp, especially the tip about avoiding the toll :-) Just a small misunderstanding: Lappland is the northern areas of Sweden and Finnland ;-)
