Welcome on my page about the real Bayahibe, not only the bits most tourists see...

A friend of mine worked in Bayahibe as diving instructor and was asking me for a long time to go and visit him, so i went....

Bayahibe

Of course my friend's insider information helped me plan the trip, so i didn't stay in one of the resorts there, but in the village its self. That's why i call this page the real Bayahibe.

If you have been there you will probably have stayed in one of the big resorts there wich offer everything you want. Most resorts are in the part of Bayahibe called "Dominicus", only one resort the "Casa de Mar" is actualy near Bayahibe.

Of course i will show you my impressions of Bayahibe and will give you my tips.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Warm, sun, beach, nice food, strong drinks, friendly people and more!!
Cons:the dominicans littering the place :-(
In a nutshell:A small but very nice place for a holiday

Make a trip to La Romana Things to Do (6)

From Bayahibe its not far to La Romana. La Romana is the next big town. Its about 30 to 40 minutes away from Bayahibe.... more travel advice

Wow, were you lucky to be able to experience the Dominican this way! I have only met people who have been to the resorts -- that's not real!

Excellent page full of fun in the sun attractions. Sipping a Presidente and watching the sunset sounds great. You'll have to come to the States so I can teach you how to play baseball! :-)
