La Romana, Cigars and a huge sugar factory

by mabu - last update: May 1, 2003

Park in La Romana
During my stay at Bayahibe (see my Bayahibe page for more) I made a day's trip to La Romana.

My friend who lives in Bayahibe acted as a local guide. We had quite some fun that day...

So read on these pages about impressions of La Romana.

Great page and information. Maybe we will catch the cigar factory when we are in La Romana March 2009.

One of my daily stops for cafe con leche with a chocolate croissant. A great local institution that provides a fine coffee along with one of the best bakeries in town. To go is available also, but to enjoy the experience, have a seat and relax.
