Great page and information. Maybe we will catch the cigar factory when we are in La Romana March 2009.
One of my daily stops for cafe con leche with a chocolate croissant. A great local institution that provides a fine coffee along with one of the best bakeries in town. To go is available also, but to enjoy the experience, have a seat and relax.
Very interesting place. Hope to visit there some day. Great page-))

La Romana seems to be a nice town despite the air-polution. The market sound to be a great place.
I've never said this before, but . . . "this page SMELLS good!" I can smell the cigars adn the markets and the exhaust from the motorbikes! Happy birthday, Markus!!!
