Hmmm, I miss "Asian" or "Indonesian" in the theme list but there you have it:

Open Tuesdays to Sundays from 12.00-21.30

Favorite Dish: Babi Pedis (spicy pork), Oedang Mentega (big spicy shrimps, fried in butter), Babi Spek (crisp roasted pork, a speciality, Ikan Pepesan (traditional dish of fish from the oven), great Sateh (goat, pork, chicken pieces on sticks, grilled). And more!
The only thing referring to the name Pablo (Spanish!) is the home made sangria.

    Golden Grill: Golden Grill
  • Tip Rating:
  • Restaurant Name: Golden Grill

The restaurant belongs to hotel Atlas, right in the center of Brielle. The owner is Turkish and it just very slightly peeps through on the menu which is overally French/Dutch.
    Good food, kind service.
Tip: in summer on Mondays, there are carillon concerts and if you have your meal in the garden, you can enjoy food and live carillon music at the same time.

Favorite Dish: The filopastry rolls filled with goats cheese or minced meat.

Jim de Kok: Jim de Kok (Jim, the Cook)
  • Tip Rating:
  • Restaurant Name: Jim de Kok

Jim van der Velde is a young chef who found an original way to earn his money. He doesn't have money to buy and run a restaurant. So what he does is cook 5 course dinners at people's houses.
Two days a week he cooks at my favourite and indeed top restaurant in this region: Cuisine Savoureuse in the nearby village Zuidland.

Am going to visit! Love your gable stones. One of my favorites when travelling. So sorry about the fire. Hope that most of the damage was repairable! Looking forward to pictures of this year's masquerade!

I would love to take your tour of Brielle...in person. But, perhaps the liquid reward before the walk if it's cold...and after. Loved you photos.
