The Rotte is a river after which Rotterdam is named. It runs through the north of Rotterdam and has some nice, big, recreational grounds around it called Rottemeren (Rotte lakes).
Good for walking, cycling, swimming, watersports etc.
It's very picturesque on a summer's day! |
| | Vierwindenmolen (Wind mill) Wind mill Four Winds where it's every homebaker's dream: baking mixes, cake decorations, old fashioned sweets, all different kinds of flour. |
| | Restaurant A nice stop during a walk or cycling trip: restaurant Meerenbos on the edge of the Rotte. |
