"Indonesian animal park in a tiny village " a Kallenkote Travel Page by ATLC

Uh, Kallenkote? Never heard of it! It's hardly a village, although I did see a village center and a primary school. It's one street with some farms along it.
However, it hides a very nice animal park, obviously set up with love and dedication by people from Indonesia. A lovely half-day outing, especially suitable for families with young children. Go see it and enjoy!

There are quite a few places around Meppel (main town in the area) that are worth visiting. However, Meppel is on the brink of two provinces, so you would not be able to detect that if you look at my Travel Page.

You could easily cycle between these places. It's a lovely rural area.

Meppel (lively nightlife, shopping, printing museum)
Schiphorst (stately home as exclusive hotel/restaurant, stork farm)
