This was another one of my trips with Ladies' Circle. A number of members from different European countries got together for a conference. Then there was some sightseeing and a visit to an orphanage in Campulung. Ladies' Circle from different countries support this and other orphanages in Romania. The great thing is that we can go and see for ourselves how they are getting on with our support and funds.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Very hospitable people who do almost too much to make you feel at home.
Cons:I can't find that hand-kiss at home!

To get to the airport in Bucarest in time, calculate some time extra. We had a flat tyre on the way back! more travel advice
