Getting TO/AROUND: I was here by car but noticed the trainstation. Schedules can be found at the link below. The Tourist Information is almost next to the station so it's easy to find your way around after you arrive.

When you arrive, you walk across the parking lot towards the Tourist Information center. I do mean the parking lot in the 2nd photo in this tip. I do NOT mean the parking lot between the two supermarkets next to the station!

Getting TO/AROUND: The Mosel is very busy with sightseeing boats. There is a boat stop right in front of the Bellevue hotel and another on the other side of the river. The schedules are frequent. It takes about 2.5 hours to sail to Bernkastel-Kues, another very popular Mosel town.
Each Mosel town actually has a boat stop or two (often on both sides of the river). You can buy tickets on the spot.

Departures from Traben-Trarbach to Bernkastel-Hues daily:
10 hrs, 11.15 hrs. 13.30 hrs. 15 hrs, 17 hrs.
It takes about 2 hrs for the trip. However, it may happen that you may get delayed when the locks at Zeltingen are unlucky.
