A bit of a let down - Mont Saint Michel

Now don't get me wrong. Mont St. Michel is an amazing location. Rising up on the sand with nothing around it.
It's the touristy bit that spoiled it for me.

I loved my visit here - something out of a history fantasy book - roaming all over it and watching the tide swirling it! was great!had some excellent prune tart too!

I have a Mont St Michel page to build and I looked for inspiration. I agree with you, the location is superb but so touristy that I have very little inspiration for writing tips!

a good start with great links. I have to admit, I have never been there, but maybe I can some day, hopefully at a day without the crowds !
