Choosing an opening photo for my Venice page is not an easy one. How many canals, gondoliers, alleys, and images of San Marco square or Rialto can you have on VT?!
So I choose a most special moment during my short stay. I searched for hours to find this man in the photo. He makes Venetian masks by hand and restores antiques. His name is Gianni Cavalier. I'll talk about him later in a Shopping Tip. |

Really enjoyed your shopping tips. I was looking for a place to stay in Venice between getting off a cruise ship and flying home so the hotel tip will be useful also. |
