Touristic but educative

Admittedly, this Zulu village was all for tourists. But it was colourful, the people are so beautiful and it tell us more about their culture.

These photo's were taken at Umfolozi park where there is a Zulu village (including a ritual before you are allowed in!) and a reptile park which I was too chicken to go to :-))

Thanks to Ghosthunter and Peter_P for providing me with the exact name of the park.
I think in one of the tips you will find why I had forgotten it !

Ive got Saffa friends and work colleagues with Zulu connections - even a friend nicknamed Zulu!nice to see yr tips - esp the photos.

Perhaps the bead tradition of New Orleans Mardi Gras has some origins in the Zulu culture of Hluhluwe.
