Canal bridge

Incredible structure built by Eiffel, indeed the builder of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
A metal aquaduct of 660m long carries the Loire Lateral Canal over the river Loire to join the Briare Canal.

Unfortunately there was no more time to stay in Briare. It looks like a larger town with an interesting church that we didn't get to see properly.

Maybe next time!

Cool pics of the aqueduct. Will need to note this one on things to see list in the Loire.
