1991: one night including the best breakfast I had in France so far. Apart from the French bread and cheese, there were crèpes (thin pancakes), homemade jams and piles of good dairy butter. Our room had a private shower.
It was a working farm, with kids running around and you could go and watch the cows being milked.
Unique Qualities: Our stay also included dinner in the large dining room with the huge age old open fireplace and mantelpiece.
Food and wine were abundant. So was the rather tiring chatter of 2 French couples. Fun for a while ! I shall never forget that one Frenchman would not have it that a woman poured the wine. I had to give him the bottle.
Madame Nahuet cooked herself.
For our room, breakfast and dinner, we paid 250 FF, which is now (in 2007) 38 EUR. Even then it was ridiculously little for an excellent stay.
I can't find this B&B currently on the internet. It might mean they closed down. It pays to give them a ring.
