Delightful chateau that is famous for its yearly theatre spectacle (Son et Lumière) in summer. I visit here often, every year when I am staying in the neighbourhood. Enjoy the photos! |

angiebabe Mon May 26, 2008 21:27 UTC 18 th century wolves feet? never know whats next!another nice spot in France though - all those lovely castles..... | Beausoleil Wed Feb 14, 2007 22:51 UTC Fun! You can walk around the roof beams at Villandry now. It's interesting to see the construction. | JLBG Wed Feb 23, 2005 10:47 UTC Have you read the novel "au plaisir de Dieu" of academician Jean d’Ormesson, who lived in this castle. The castle is the main character of the book (that I have not read). Louis-Michel Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau is one of his ancestors. | matcrazy1 Sat Jul 24, 2004 00:04 UTC Anke, it's beautiful castle and page with your writings, info and amazing pictures! Greetings :-) |
