Caribana is a celebration of Carribean culture. Kinda of a North American Carnival and the LARGEST street/cultural event in North America. The event just clogs the downtown core for a few days with sights and sounds and traffic as well.

Mosport - Motorcycle racing in mid-July. Oh baby - see bike run, see bike fly see bike crash. A huge gather of motorcycle enthusiasts watching fast bikes go round and round.

Mostly of them are the non-Hollywood, yet have high-production values comparable to Hollywood. However, the gala screenings in recent years have been Hollywood star-studded events and world premieres of big-budget films are not uncommon. Other festivals in the same league: Cannes, Sundance

Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Great for thrill-seekers of all ages. Canada's large amusement park with plenty of thrill rides. Comparable to Six Flag chain of amusement parks.

Centre Island and the Centre Island amusement Toronto, like Vancouver, has a recreational island nearby. Albeit, no where as large, but a short ferry trip away (runs until 11pm). The Centre Island amusement park is great for young children.
