David's Deli - Jewish restuarant in theatre district. Jewish food in SF. Also try Moishe's Pippic which I also work by and is far less expensive and does have better deli sandwiches. Again
Favorite Dish: Beef goulash + latkes. Especially the latkes for me.

Moishe's Pippic in Hayes Valley. Chicago/Jewish Deli in Hayes valley. Very blue-collar, unlike the area around it.
Favorite Dish: Wrigley Park dogs. Any of the hot dogs are great. Sorry, but I'm not a fan of slabs of meat in bread - aka deli sandwiches.

Flippers - Gourment burgers in Hayes valley Extremely messy burgers, but the burgers are bit on the pricey side.

Restaurant Name: Frijtz in Hayes Valley.
Main menu consist of fries w/ exotic dipping sauces and crepes.
Favorite Dish: Belgian fries with the dipping sauces - i.e Wasabi Mayo, Spicy Ketchup or some other exotic combination. The crepes are good too, but I'm not a fan of them in generally even the ones I've tried in Paris.
