I'm back

In case you hadn't noticed that I was gone; I'm back on VT. Yes, I got bored with VT for a while. The fun was gone, spoiled by people who were obsessed with ratings (and even copy-pasted info from other websites just to have something), people who always had to be the first to answer a question in a forum (and not minding that the info they were giving was incorrect) and people who couldn't stand me having an opinion. I found something else to do that kept me busy for the past year and a half (Wikipedia, in case you're wondering) and had a great time. But today, October 24th 2006, precisely 5 years after I signed up, I am back on VT officially. And to celebrate, I threw away my old personal page. It's outdated anyway. Except that I still am colourblind. I still was born in The Netherlands and live in Belgium now. My favourite subjects are still churches and beer. I still hate it when people call my native country "Holland" (but have become a bit more tolerant about it) and I still despise people who try to score on VT by using other people's pictures and words. And I still have opinions that may differ from yours. Or not. Who cares.

kan ik met u corresponderen wij plannen een reis naar kaliningrad voor deze zomer met de auto ik en mijn vrouw 45 jaar en onze zoon 17 jaar en de hond e zijn geinteresseerd in wereldoorlog 2 en ostalgie dank bij voorbaat

Was there ever a WW II Sherman tank from the Polish Army on display in Breda? Many years ago, a friend of my father said he saw their tank there. If it was still there, I was planning on visiting someday. If it's just the German tank, I think I'll pass.

I like your homepage a lot. It's very refreshing to read an honest opinion. I'm new to VT, and I don't care about ratings at all. Building pages has become more like a catharsis to me, and to be quite honest, I don't care if no one reads my pages Cheers!

I found your HP comments very honest. For me, VT is not a competition but its an enjoyment, so, like you, I don no care like you about rating. Rating can be subjective (influenced by gender, look, age, friendship, etc besides photos and tips) Cheers!

hey, I liked the stuff you said on your homepage, but am curious to know the reasons you don't like the name Holland. Maybe I'm being ignorant here, but I'd be grateful if you could enlighten me.

Ah yes, let's all have a vote for tolerance, otherwise we'd always be at war with one another. Interesting to note that you have highlighted errors on VT whilst gaining solace in the compendium of errors, Wikipedia. Cheers.
