I moved to Lawton, OK from Houston, TX. I had been used to both bigger and smaller cities in the past so the change was not unexpected. Lawton is like most smaller cities with an Army Base. It has its very nice parts, and its not as nice parts.
The school system seems better then I had anticipated, for Public Schools, and Lawton is home to Cameron University.
