but for us as arab ,Egypt represents our hope in the past ,present and future..
as Libyans Egypt is our old neigbour..and words cannot express the relationship of neighpours...unless we use the hadeeth of mohamed the messenger of god (pbuh):i bequeath u the seventh neighpour good.

As Libyan , I don't need the visa to cross the border which is approximately 5 hours by car from our city " Benghazi".
If you drive your car through the desert road you might reduce the time. I prefer traveling along the mountain road . It's longer but more lovely. Remember that you will see nothing but desert for more than 1000 k.m in Libya and Egypt , so it should be a great chance for you to have a long look at the mountain.
Our first halt usually is in Matruh . This city which achieved great jump after 1989 , the date of opening the borders between both countries after the crisis that began in 1977.
In other side ,tourism is one important resource of the Egyptian investment. That's why you have to pay for every thing , approximately. Remember that.
