Benghazi is an ancient Libyan city, built at first by the Greek , and known as one of the <h3> <font color= dd55> Pentapolis : </font> </h3> <h5>  or the five cities which are </h5>
<center><h4> Qureena , Darnis ,Barce , Tokera , and <h4>Bernice . </h4><center>
This city had some Greek , Roman and Islamic remains. Unfortunately lots of these remains were lost due to a lot of factors . Wars , rebuilding , and historical events are some of these factors. This city was damaged more than once along 2700 years which represent the age of it.
It had different names along this history : Bernice and Husebridus are two f these names .. as we can see they are Latin names.

Benghazi ( this is the way we spell it ) is the second major city in Libya, and the most important one in the eastern part of it.. It is 1000 km east from Tripoli and 600 km from the egyptian border.
There are one national airport in the erea of bannina which is just 20 km from benghazi. There are one sea port connecting this city with Europe and the other countries.. This is important for importing lots of the country needs of several goods ... of course the mediterranean sea is the sea Benghazi situates at.
Population is approximately one millionof Libyan citizens . Main active points in this city is the sport center, the market of Al-Arab ( known as Souq al maaredh), the Islamic call society building ,which is a trade and financial center and Tebesti Hotel ... regardless the Zoo which is mentioned in the garden city page and the resort of Bujazeera which is mentioned in Bujazeera page
