Lakes and palm beatch Bujazeera or boudezeera as the commons pronounce it is a small village situates a few km. east to the center of Benghazi city. This area is distinguished by its agreeable water lakes , palms and sandy beaches. There are two resorts which are established to surround two of these lakes . One of these resorts is known as MUNTAZAH BUDEZZERA . It’s seen from the coastal way which connects Benghazi to the other eastern cities. This resort has tree gardens next to means of enjoyment , compartments and rooms as mentioned enclosing the lake. The lake itself as scientist discovered is an extent to the river of Lethi. This legendary river which was mentioned several times by a lot of ancient writers . It’s true that there is an underground river goes from this lake , passes to the adjacent lakes and goes through buatni to lethi.. The name which is still know so far.. The other resort is called ALMAGAREEN ( to be mentioned later in Almagareen page) ….. The sandy beach of budezzeara used to attract people who like the sun and the sea . They are rare now after building the industrial center , which is very close to the village… The village of Budezzeera is very small . Most of it consists of some traditional houses and small factories and workshops . |
