Although Gibraltar pretty much enjoys year round sunshine, its location can sometimes make you feel cool, even on summer days. If you are going up the rock take at least a warm Pullover or Jersey. The winds here, which are not uncommon, come straight off the Atlantic.

When crossing to Gibraltar from Spain you wont fail to notice the oil refineries between La Linea and Algeciras. Unfortunately the fumes they emit can be quite unpleasant and can sometimes even reach the town of Gibraltar itself.
