In September 2002 the day after the VT Meeting at Terra Mitica, Benidorm, Manuel (Hosell) took Carmen (Carmela71) and myself to visit the town of Guadalest.
If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit, it is only 20 KM from the town of Benidorm.
Perched on top of a rocky hill, with its small church, it offers great views of the surrounding valleys and hills. |

|  | The sixteenth century Moorish castle town is built into the surrounding rock and you enter the town through a gateway tunnelled through the mountain. |

| | Its one of the most popular tourist attractions in Valenciana, and if you can cope with the many tourists and giftshops it affords excellent views of the valleys, reservoir and surrounding hills.
There are three busses per day her from the town of Benidorm. |
