Flights to Ibiza. Flights Review

Charter flights from all over Europe as well as scheduled flights from Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.

Most people have their flight included in a package holiday, but its becoming increasingly common to book on many of the 'No Frills' charters and arrange you own accommadation.

Public Transport - Buses and Taxis Buses and Taxis Review

Regular and inexpensive bus services cover most of the island, even a disco bus to get you to and from the out of town disco's run hourly through the night.

The are a reliable way to get around the Island and actually run on time. But for some remoter areas, dont miss that last bus home.
For services and routemaps check the link below.

Taxi's are convenient, but sometimes hard to find in the peak months, best to try flagging them down on the street or at taxi ranks. The fares are inexpensive and set by the local government. Check this link for fares...

One of my Hire cars - Ibiza

One of my Hire cars

Car / Moped / Motorcycle Hire Cars, Mopeds and Motorcycles Review

I recommend you hire a car while you are on the Island, at least for a few days of your stay. Public transport is good but it will rarely get you to those 'Off the Beaten path' places which are a great feature of the Island.

Car hire offices are scattered throughout all the major towns, you should have no difficulty finding one, but if in doubt ask at your hotel reception or tourist information office.

You could also hire one at the airport on arrival, the offices are located in the main arrivals hall.

Another option is to pre-book a car through the internet or with your travel agent, sometimes you can get better rates doing this and it ensures you will have one available on arrival.

Be aware that in the high season, August and July there is a big demand for vehicles so early booking is advised, if not essential.

Moped hire is also commonplace, but just a word of warning... many inexperienced riders hire them, dont wear protective clothing, and frequently have accidents driving on unfamiliar roads or due to thoughtless drivers. Be sure you know how to handle them. I frequently meet people around town or at the hotel, bandaged, or plastered, with broken bones, severe gravel burns or worst. You never have to ask the question 'How did that happen'? the answer if you do is invariably, 'I came off a moped'. It really spoils their holiday.
