    • The Balcón de Europa (Balcony of Europe) was originaly the site of a Moorish Castle, today it has been turned into a promenade with great views along the coast and into the Mediterranean sea. Quiet coves surround it and a few cafes serve refreshments.

    • Nerja has 16 kms of coastline, much of it dotted with small sandy bays, ideal for that relaxing afternoon in the sun or dip in the sea for a cool down. Many have Chiringuitos, small restaurants the serve refreshments or the excellent grilled sardines cooked over a fire on the beach.

    • Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.

     This is a very friendly authentic Welsh bar frequented also by Spanish, owned by 100% Welsh couple who have given the bar character and warmth. Great place to relax or sport inc Rugby. Visitors return time and again including us - a great favourite!    		nada1712 Sat Apr 29, 2006 18:57 UTC
     Its the Frigiliana of Spain that I so want to visit. I thought Nerja had lots of expats in villas!
