II visit Portugal about once a year,always at the end of October or early November. We use Faro as our Airport on route to our timeshare apartment at a resort called Pria Da Oura wich is situated near Albefuira.
We generally spend a few hours in Faro,and find it a great place for shops,bars and bistro's, The architectoure is nearly all the same in Portugal but they do have some very impressive buildings. The coastal area is very scenic and clear. The reason we favour Portugal is the weather is always warm,it may get rather cool in the evenings,but the day's are suberb.
