Yeah, Ayuthaya is a nice place to visit with all its tradition, laid back surrondings & near to Bangkok :) I enjoyed my trip there a few years back.

I am so glad you spent some time in Thailand. It's one of my favorite countries. Heard you had a great time. How was Ayuthaya? I really want to go there. Loved the Buddha head at Wat Mahathat shot.
