Many expeditioners to K2 and other peaks in the region start from Skardu, Baltistan (also Little Tibet).

Just swung by your Skardu Page again! The sneaky PIA pic at the airport is great. Isn't that flight the most "breathtaking" thing...in every sense of the word (the landing is just as breathtaking :o)

gr8 photos from a place that seems to be from another planet. we claim our family is travelers off the beaten path, but this place seems for the flying eagles :-)
