Try out the rides at the Yongin Everland, which is NOT located within Seoul, but on the outskirts of Seoul.
It really feels like Toyland or Fairyland in Enid Blyton's storybooks... :)
When I was there, it was pretty cold and they had christmas songs playing in addition to the fairytale theme... it felt absolutely magical!!
The picture shows the ride 'Hurricane', located at American Adventure (one of five theme worlds - American Adventure, Global Fair, Equatorial Adventure, Magic Land and European Adventure).
I recommend the Safari World where visitors will ride in a minibus through the zoo's natural animal environment and the animals will perform tricks on the driver's command.
And also, I recommend you purchase the Unlimited Ride ticket instead of the Big 5 which only entitles you to 5 rides.

Go shopping at Namdaemun (Great South Gate) Market.
Bustling with activity, it sells virtually everything from toothpicks to mammoth teeth!
There are even old ladies (a-jum-ma = Auntie) offering a refreshing massage to those weary visitors and shoppers for a small fee.

Lotte World.
MUST-TRY: Gyro Drop, a 70m high ride which drops you in a twisting free-fall at a speed of 100km/h in Magic Island. Not recommended to try more than twice - may leave you nauseated.
It's Mall-Culture gone mad!!
A mammoth leisure and shopping mall, located in Jamsil also composing of a deluxe hotel, folk museum, indoor and outdoor theme park, ice-skating rink (as seen in the picture) and a sports centre.
Lotte World Adventure is a full-scale indoor theme park with ultra-modern rides. The indoor theme park is connected to the outdoor theme park 'Magic Island' which is surrounded by Seokchonhosu Lake behind Lotte World.

It's more happening and flamboyant at night!

Check out Doosan Tower, Migliore and Freya Town!
There are several shops which are set up by entrepreneurial youths selling stuff from trendy, unique clothes to knick knacks...

Even though they are inexpensively priced, do remember to Bargain! But don't overdo it though as some are only students hoping to make extra pocket money... :)
