My favourite winter haunt is Fuerteventura one of the largest of the Canary Islands located just off the coast of Morocco. It has the best all around weather to escape from the cruel winter months that are here in London, so to escape,,'' run to the sun'',, Fuerte is the best cheap HOT sunshine and surfing spots that is accessible to me. The cheap flights from London mean that you can get to the Canary Islands for about 150 G.B.P. return and find cheap or expensive accomodation as you prefer. To me Fuerte is the best out of the Canary Islands as it offers a less crowded approach to holidays than neighboring Tenerife or Lanzarote. The unspoilt beaches and lack of Commercialisation means that you get a far more relaxed environment to enjoy your quality free time in. I personally like the fact that Corralejo has only a few bars and maybe two nightclubs that are any good, but plenty of Restaurants and fun things for a good clean family holiday, no lager drinking idiots to contend with, just hardcore surfers and holiday makers...and plenty of hot sunshine and cool reef breaks....Surf for your Life............................
