This is a picture of the parque natural da Ria Formosa, just off the cost of Faro. You can easily reach some of the islands by ferries that leave from Faro. Faro has a reputation for being pretty tacky and touristy, but it has some really good sides as well, this natural park is one example. The old town of Faro is really great as well. |
