I have been living in Oostende all my life and i really love this city. Oostende is also known as "The Queencity of the Coast" because one of our kings had a house here. You can do everything (almost) here, museums, art, theater, cinema, nighlife, sightseeing, relax,....
The last 3 years the government has been busy with renovating the streets and the seaside and it turned out great.

If you are planning a trip to Belgium you must come to Oostende, for me it is the best coastcity, and i would like to be your guide if I have time.

Hi, my baby is turning one and I can't find a place to celebrate his birthday. I've been to the indoor playground by the bowling but they dont do parties for 1 year old babies. And I'd like a more modern place. Do you know any places? Thanks, Silvi

I passed yesterday (May 7th 2010 through Maria Hendrika park: the parking is no longer free (up to 13 € for 13hrs)

Hi Caroline, I love Oostende but I haven't been for a couple of years. Could you tell me if 1. ESP bar opposite Den Artiest is still open. and 2. If The Dingle pub is still open opposite Acces Hotel on the Long St. Thanx Ron XX

I enjoyed your Oostende page. I've only been to Belgium once, to Gent, but would like to explore the coast by tram some time, and try my luck in the casinos !!. Cheers, Clive

Hi! I will be moving to Oostende soon.I've been checking the internet for primary schools,but can't find much info.My daugher will need to go to either a german or english school.If you have any info that could help,that would be great.Thanx!
