    • Credit cards are almost useless. You may find some ATMs in the center. Sure, you may get money in any Sberbank (Russia's largest bank) offices. Be ready to wait some time: operations are slooow.

    • The most convinient way to get around is to pick up a 'taxi'. Taxi is practically any private car in Moscow. In most cases, they have no taxi signs. You should discuss the fee before you go. If you pick up a taxi on a street, an average short trip may cost 50-100 rubels ($1.75-3.50).

    • Dispite of Moscow, it's difficult to change dollars to rubels on the night. Please change money daytime in the center (there are many of exchanges on Nevsky prospekt). Be ready to sign up to 5 different forms. They open an account for this operation to save on taxes.
